Photography

So I haven't uploaded much from this class all semester. Partly because I've "disliked" it up until now. We just started playing around in the studio with lighting and it is so much fun. We get to do this until the class is over so I wanna get some cool picks before I go home. Hopefully some I can put in my portfolio.

The first photo wasn't taken by me, HA guess that's obvious since I'm in it. I'm pretty sure this was taken by a friend of mine in class, Manny, he's the man. The second photo is pretty much me in a nut shell, a nerd. Can't wait till next week, I think I might play dress up.

Personal Work

So I've been trying to do some more personal work instead of just Uni work. I've been working on this off and on for a little bit. Not much improvement from the last post of her but I just wanna keep something up to date. I'm still tweeking the body and what not but this is pretty much how the pose will lo0k in the end. If you didn't know already, the concept is a modern day pirate. I gave her a peg high heel to make it classy and all. Hope you enjoy, and check back soon. Maybe I'll finish this soon IDK.

New Work

So after an all nighter I managed to pump out a almost fully functional website and a completed animaiton for my intro credits. Sadly I can only show you one of these.

The website was a redesign of an existing charity website group 61. The charity deals with mentally ill individuals and making their lives easier through friendships. After I met with the founders of the organization I got to work and made something that I felt embodied their vision as Group 61. I made the palette more welcoming and warmer. I simplified all information and the site souly for the potential volunteers. Everything was started from scratch and because of that the coding had to start from scratch. Needless to say this was a nightmare. Since I have no experience with this part of the work flow I had to settle with making some changes to my design. In the end I felt that I had a well imagined idea and the goal was attained, more or less. If I did a good job on the design portion I shouldn't have to label what each page is.

I turned both the assignments in yesterday, so I don't know either of my grades. However I am sure that I will get atleast a P, which is a C or better in the states.

Intro Credits

This is part 2 of my fake video game. Intro credits for the title sequence and what not. This is just the environment for now. More work to be done tomorrow. Let me know what you think, I'm dying for some sort of critique. Australians must not like talking about their work.

Mole Man

Now that the first assignment is coming close to an end in my 3D design class I figured it would be a good time to share some of my progress so far. I'll post some render shots and what not periodically. For now it's just some concept work and preliminary stuff.

I didn't focus too much on the modeling because frankly I'm not a very good modeler. However after seeing some of the other kids models and what they were producing I thought I needed to step my game up...A LOT. So I went all out and did the best texture I probably have ever done. I'm still working on it now but it's super close to being finished. I get all tingly just typing about it. God I love animation.

New Work from Australia

Now that I'm in Australia and I have some work to show for it, I figured I might as well post some new stuff. This is a redesign for a boilerplate website. I used HTML and CSS coding to do this. All of the images were created by me except for the gallery, I have Jam Pack 83g to thank for that.

The first page is on the top left [Home, eZine article, Gallery, Site Specific, Contact info]
I enjoyed doing this and I'm kind of curious as to what we'll be doing next.
